I've truly loved performing since I was very young. Born in Vancouver, Canda and growing up in multiple cities in the U.S. due to homeschooling, I used all the time I had to myself to really grow in my passions. I've been taking singing lessons since 5 years old, and whether it was performing my own concert for my 10th birthday party or making my own silly songs, I always loved creating and performing. While going to a performing arts high school in Chicago (ChiArts), I discovered that I can have the best of both acting and singing with musical theatre. After originating the lead in a production of The Nutcracker, I decided that theatre was where my heart was. I auditioned for NYU Tisch senior year and got into the New Studio on Broadway.
During the pandemic however, I realized how much more accessible and versatile tv and film was to everyone, and the more I watched, the more I wanted my art to be like that too. I spent my Junior year at Stonestreet Studios, where I got to have on-camera training as well as directing, writing, and production training as well. I began to write my one scenes and screenplays during my time in that residency.
After graduating in May 2023, finishing my studies at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, I've focused my time on finishing a screenplay I started writing while studying abroad at NYU Sydney, continuing to self-tape, and writing my own music that I've posted on various social media. I want to be as well-rounded of an artist as I can be, leading me to branch out and be creative in any way possible outside of just being an actor.
When I'm not singing or writing, I'm usually crocheting, having solo dance parties, or simply finding new ways to embrace my style and curls.
